Arts Council of Fayetteville Arts Council of Fayetteville|Cumberland County Arts Council, a division of the Department of Natural & Cultural Resources.

Founded in 1973, the Arts Council has served as a link between artists, arts and cultural organizations, and the greater community by administering programs in partnership with local agencies to stimulate economic growth, reinforce child education through the arts, and enhance the cultural identity of the arts and entertainment district. In the year 2020-21, the Arts Council distributed $1.1 milli

on in grant funds and allocations to Cumberland County arts and culture nonprofit organizations, artists, and municipalities. Grants, programs, and services are funded in part by contributions from community partners, and through grants from the City of Fayetteville, Cumberland County, and the N.C.

CALL FOR ARTISTS: 2-4-6 Exhibit RFP 🎨

Submission Deadline: September 15, 2026

Are you ready to transform the Arts Center gallery?

We’re seeking regional visual artists to design four unique, immersive installations!

Selected artists will craft a central theme that bridges their visual artwork with 2 thematic words and 6 musical tracks to create a unified narrative experience for gallery visitors.

Who Should Apply?
- Visual artists residing in Southeast North Carolina
- Priority consideration given to artists in Cumberland, Hoke, Robeson, Sampson, and Scotland counties

Selection Criteria:
- Artistic excellence & merit
- Strength of curatorial vision
- Potential for regional career growth

We have some complimentary tickets for today’s Woodpeckers game spread around our gallery 👀⚾️

The Arts Council is the featured nonprofit for this evening’s game and will have a tent on the concourse at Segra Stadium.

Bonus: You get a double header tonight!

The Woodpeckers will complete yesterday’s postponed game first, followed by tonight’s scheduled game - that’s two games for the price of zero.

Swing by the gallery and look for a set of tickets before they’re gone!

Join us tomorrow at 6PM for our next Art After Hours!

Explore "Paradox of the Observer," featuring work by cartoonist and Southeastern Artist in Residence, Hannah Krieger.

Hannah will host a journal comics workshop right in the gallery during the event—no materials or artistic experience required!

Grab a drink at one of the restaurants in the Social District, bring a friend, and come hang out with us.
