Arts Council of Fayetteville Arts Council of Fayetteville|Cumberland County Arts Council, a division of the Department of Natural & Cultural Resources.

Founded in 1973, the Arts Council has served as a link between artists, arts and cultural organizations, and the greater community by administering programs in partnership with local agencies to stimulate economic growth, reinforce child education through the arts, and enhance the cultural identity of the arts and entertainment district. In the year 2020-21, the Arts Council distributed $1.1 milli

on in grant funds and allocations to Cumberland County arts and culture nonprofit organizations, artists, and municipalities. Grants, programs, and services are funded in part by contributions from community partners, and through grants from the City of Fayetteville, Cumberland County, and the N.C.

Don't miss Cool Spring Downtown District's Juneteenth Jubilee happening this Friday in Festival Park!

The Juneteenth Jubilee festival is designed to provide a welcoming, thoughtful, inclusive, educational, and joyfully entertaining event for all, focused on the history of the holiday, as well as promoting a spirit of unity and progress.

Arts Council board member Dominique Womack will MC the celebration, keeping the energy up all evening long. At 7PM there will be keynote speeches from our board member, Sheila Cuffee, and Creative Manager, April Mata.

And Kirby will deliver a headlining performance that will be one to remember 🔥

Representatives from the various local arts and culture groups to met to elect our new Arts Council board members and discuss topics relevant to their organizations.
