Now is the time to consider an open-door policy!

Cleaning storage areas can pose a risk for hantavirus exposure. Remember to open all doors and windows for at least 30 minutes before cleaning and wear gloves at all times while cleaning cabins, garages, and areas that have been closed up for extended periods. Clean up mice urine and droppings safely. Spray droppings with a bleach solution and wipe up droppings instead of dry sweeping. Do not use a vacuum.
