The future of victim advocacy is here!

We are excited to announce the launch of NOVA’s Victim Advocacy Corps. This pilot program, led by NOVA with funding from the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC), aims to elevate the next generation of leaders in victim services.

Members of the Victim Advocacy Corps, known as student fellows, come from colleges throughout the U.S. and will participate in specialized victim advocacy training, credentialing, mentorship, and a nine-month, paid field-placement in a local victim service agency.

This program is open to current students at the following campuses:
Aaniiih Nakoda College (Harlem, MT)
Coahoma Community College (Clarksdale, MS)
Gallaudet University (Washington, D.C.)
Regis University (Denver, CO)
The University of New Mexico (Albuquerque, NM)
The University of Texas at El Paso (El Paso, TX)
