What’s up, Being a part of the UMATTR team has been my “dream” since 2nd grade, I honestly never thought i would be able to make the team since i could hardly tell vicki about my story during the interviews but Now looking back I most definitely was overreacting a tad. I am so glad i got to be apart of the team learned so much about new people and i can’t wait what the future awaits for me on the ocean.

Hey everyone, it’s Emmy! I am so blessed to have been in umattr and share my story with the kids in the community! Words can’t describe the cherished friendships made with this team. My favorite memory is playing at the all abilities park on the teeter-totter after an assembly. Starting in July I will be serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Carlsbad California for the next 18 months☀️

Hey everyone, senior year’s coming to a close and with that, I’ve been able to really appreciate what UmattR has brought to this final year. I’m not the most social person but I’ve had the pleasure of being on this team with friends of mine while also getting out of my comfort zone and becoming friends with everyone over our time spent together. This experience has helped me grow as an individual, a public speaker, and see what it truly means to be a role model in a community. I’ll always be fond of the memories I made with the team, whether it was the assemblies, the inside jokes, hanging out after activities, or just having a great time. Once I graduate I plan on attending the Honors College at the University of New Mexico and majoring in finance to hopefully become a CFO one day in the future. Ian

My time on the 2026 Umattr can be summed up in two words… bullying Graham!!! (Just kidding) Seriously, this team has really opened my eyes to the community we have here in the four corners area and has not only allowed me to share important messages to children , but it’s allowed my team to share their messages with me! I appreciate each and every one of them (especially my swimmers) who have helped me through this year. I couldn’t be happier to graduate with all these amazing people! My plans for after high school are to attend UMN or CNM to major in film and intern at Netflix or Cinelease Studios. This team was a highlight to my senior year and I can’t wait to hear from our 2027 team. Thank you all for supporting me and my message, It’s meant more than you know! “Let your light shine brighter than your darkest days.”
