👏 We're thrilled to introduce the newest member of our team, Senior Accountant Nicole Matheson!

Nicole provides accounting support to our finance team and manages finances for the Functional Family Therapy-Foster Care (FFT-FC) program, a collaboration with providers statewide that improves outcomes for youth and families involved in the therapeutic foster care system.

She joins us from St. Paul Catholic High School in Bristol, where she served as Business Manager. Over the course of her career, she has also held accounting roles at higher education institutions.

👋 Please join us in welcoming Nicole!

🎉 We're excited to announce the latest addition to our training catalog: Trauma ScreenTIME Juvenile Justice Course!

Trauma is pervasive among youth involved in the juvenile justice system, but it's not always identified or addressed. That’s where the Trauma ScreenTIME Juvenile Justice Course can help! This course uses best practices and expert guidance to equip probation officers, detention officers, and other professionals in this setting (no clinical background required) with the tools to develop a screening process, choose a screening measure, conduct screening, utilize the results, and more.

🔗 Register here: https://loom.ly/8XVlwVw

The course is free, online, and self-paced. This program has been approved for 3.25 Continuing Education Credit Hours by the National Association of Social Workers, CT , and meets the continuing education criteria for CT Social Work Licensure renewal.

Trauma ScreenTIME is a partner in the National Child Traumatic Stress Network (NCTSN) and funded through a Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Category II NCTSI grant.

🏆 We're thrilled to announce that the winners of our video contest have been chosen with the help of student judges from Lyman Memorial High School in Lebanon!

A massive thanks to everyone who submitted a video and to those students who helped us make some tough calls and narrow down our top 3. Your contributions go beyond this contest—these stories will inspire the next generation of clinicians and benefit the kids and families who will one day be in their care.
