Last night was our first 2026 Women Take the Lead session in Troy, NY at Arc of Rensselaer County. Karen Carpenter, CEO of Vanderheyden Inc. gave an inspiring presentation on The Vandy Thrift Shoppe, and how its goal surrounding work-based learning and Career Center programs assures success in the workplace for their individuals regardless of their trauma histories and associated challenges.

After was a panel discussion led by Diane Jorgensen, Senior Advisor at TANGO Partner, NFP, an Aon company. It was another inspirational Women Take the Lead evening.
