Red River Valley NAVHDA Chapter

Red River Valley NAVHDA Chapter A group of dedicated dog trainers and handlers who are just as excited about working with others as they are about their own dogs.

NAVHDA is organized on two levels:
The first level, NAVHDA International, operates under bylaws approved by its membership. These bylaws provide for officers elected by popular vote who, together with appointed directors, constitute an Executive Council charged with furnishing direction and guidance to NAVHDA programs. The second level, local chapters of NAVHDA, are the "grass roots" organizations

, which sponsor the training and testing programs. There are sanctioned chapters throughout the United States and Canada.

Another successful fall testing weekend in the books! A special thank you to the many judges, handlers, and volunteers who helped us host a successful double test! There was great weather, great dogs and great friendships made!

Thank you for everyone who made yesterday such a great success. We had a great turnout for our last summer training event. Many were able run their dogs through a multi bird scenario emphasizing steadiness and association with more than one bird. Others were able to work on their dog’s duck drag and pheasant track abilities. Everything wrapped up with lunch and social for everyone involved.

A huge thank you to the members who came to train and the volunteers who devoted there Saturday to help things run smoothly.

Quick update. Our Chapter member training day that was scheduled for Saturday April 18th has been postponed due to inclement weather forecast.

We will post once we have determined when it will be rescheduled.
