🦀 We came. We tagged. We contributed to community science.
Our horseshoe crab tagging program was a success! Thank you to who guided us on the shoreline to collect valuable data that supports ongoing conservation efforts. 📈
Every tag helps researchers track horseshoe crab populations and protect the coastal ecosystems that so many species depend on. 🌊
We are so grateful to our participants for making a difference- one horseshoe crab at a time! 🙏

Starting June 1, Birdcraft Museum and Sanctuary will have new weekend hours! 🗓️
We’ll now be open Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, making it easier for visitors of all ages to explore Fairfield’s historic ornithological conservation museum.

Our sanctuary trails remain open to the public year-round from dawn to dusk—perfect for birding, nature walks, and enjoying the outdoors. 🌳
