FREE Tour of an Innovative Home with Sustainability Top-of-Mind

Fairfield architect Leigh Overland’s new home adjacent to Ash Creek is a marvel of sustainable and environmentally friendly design and construction – employing a range of innovative building approaches for a house that is more energy efficient, healthier, and safer than one constructed using traditional methods, including solar and battery storage. Residents will have an opportunity to view the home up close and learn about potential sustainability improvements for their own homes at a special SFTF Net Zero & Sustainable Home Event, on Saturday, March 16. Tours of Mr. Overland’s home will be offered at 2pm and 3pm that day.

Want to do something to help the environment with your old Christmas tree? Trout Unlimited is asking you to bring your tree to 18 South Park Avenue, Easton this Sat, 1/6, and next, 1/13, 10am-2pm. They will use the trees to "sew" them into the shoreline to help bolster the stream shoreline and help the trout habitat.
Please ensure that trees are free of decorations, lights, and tinsel.
