Scouts BSA Troop 88 Scouts BSA Troop 88 in Fairfield, CT offers learning, adventure, growing, service projects, leadership, citizenship, and friendship.

Troop 88 was formed in 1957 and has seen 108 of its members achieve the highest level of scouting - Eagle Scout. We have great youth staff and patrol leaders who run the troop. They teach our younger scouts how to become great leaders. As a troop, we work on badges together. We have traveled to Bermuda, New Mexico to Philmont, Florida Sea Base, the Adirondacks for canoeing, Philadelphia to see the

Liberty Bell, explored Boston's Freedom Trail and hiked the Appalachian Trail. Our experiences have included rock climbing, ice climbing, white water rafting, skiing, ice fishing, wilderness survival training, model rockets, catapult balloon wars, bike trips, backpacking, tubing, training courses, youth protection, safe boaters certification and gun safety. We also go to summer camp every year. Plus, we are active in the community, doing several service projects each year. Our boys learn how to do so many things! Scouting prepares them for life.
