B Stigma-Free is a national non-profit committed to reducing bias and discrimination by addressing the root causes of stigma. By fostering relatedness through storytelling and collaboration, we help people overcome their fears and increase understanding of differences. Through partnerships we are creating social change by bringing groups together and cross-pollinating messages to reach new audiences. Stigma is the negative attitude that a person is unacceptable because of a difference. It is fueled by negative stereotypes and is dehumanizing. It leads to isolation, discrimination, and interferes with a person’s ability to be a fully productive member of a community.
