Saint Catherine fosters the educational, spiritual, and social well-being of people with disabilities

Saint Catherine Center Day Support is a certified program by the CT Department of Developmental Services. This program is designed to reinforce life skills with an emphasis on community access and vocational skills. Our specialized, values-enriched environment provides resources and services to develop the personal strengths of each person leading to personal fulfillment. We are seeking to create an environment that supports the mission for individuals with disabilities to participate in community life, to make personal choices about their own future; to develop and maintain relationships with family and peers and to be treated and treat others with dignity and respect.

We had a great Halloween at Saint Catherine Center! We decorated our vans and went trunk-or-treating in the parking lot. We also had a pumpkin decorating contest and a Halloween dance party. Everyone loved showing off their costumes and celebrating together.

Thank you to the Fairfield Fire Department for visiting Saint Catherine Center for a special demonstration in honor of Fire Prevention Month. Our young adults enjoyed the opportunity to learn about fire safety and tour the fire truck.

Each team worked together to create their very own scarecrow, using creativity, teamwork, and a little fall inspiration! We are so happy to display all of our scarecrows around the Center and enjoy these festive creations.

We had a great field trip to the zoo this week! Our young adults enjoyed exploring, learning about animals, and spending time together out in the community.

Saint Catherine Center's annual Joy & Gratitude Gala will take place on Sunday, September 27th, 2026! We wrapped up summer with an end-of-summer luau! Our young adults had a fantastic time together with food, themed bingo, and a craft. It was wonderful to see so many bright Hawaiian shirts adding to the island spirit!

Field Day was a huge success! From pickleball, co****le, and lots of games, it was a perfect day to get outside and stay active.

We had the best time on our field trip to mini golfing! It was such a fun way to get outside, enjoy the fresh air, and stay active together.

We had a wonderful time getting creative with a sand art activity. Each person designed their own colorful masterpiece. It was a relaxing, hands-on experience and a great way to unwind together.

While the Academy students are enjoying summer break, our Adult Program stepped in to keep one of our favorite traditions going. This week, they took over the monthly PB&J service project and made 300 sandwiches to donate to Merton House.
