Over the weekend, the Libertarian Party of Oregon held its nominating convention using Approval Voting on bettervoting.com. In this election, there were 17 races.

BetterVoting can be used for everything from casual polls to formal elections. Try it out for your organization!

Ranked Choice Voting was sold with the promise that it eliminated vote-splitting, so politicos wouldn't gate-keep candidates, but election scientists and experts said this claim was overstated. Sure enough, RCV's first Alaska election saw serious vote-splitting, and the following year the new system was almost repealed.
