It's Commencement day, class of 2026! Congratulations on this incredible achievement and welcome to the family.

Graduates and their families are invited to stop by the UO Alumni Association's Graduate & Family Lounge today in the Ford Alumni Center between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. The lounge is a welcoming space to relax, recharge, and take a break between ceremonies. Enjoy refreshments, charge your devices, and get out of the heat for a bit. We can't wait to welcome you soon!

Rand Getlin, BA ’06 (political science), and Janina Pelayo, BS ’06 (business administration), are executive producers of HBO's U.S. Against the World: Four Years with the Men's National Soccer Team. The five-part docuseries debuted on HBO last month, with the final episode dropping earlier this week.

Do you hear that? That's the sound of Oregon in song. 🎹 🎺

Steffen Schmidt, class of 2014, is a score composer for video games and virtual reality film experiences. He recently collaborated with on the track "Runnin' it," an ode to the legacy of innovation and movement at Hayward. Composing with Oregon at heart, Steffen travels the world for his work, from Seoul's video game industry to the Venice International Film Festival.

Meet Robert Johnston, BA ’81 (marketing)

Robert is a UOAA Life member, and has found new connections and a renewed relationship with the UO through the UOAA.

"I have been a UOAA member for several years now and found it to be a great way to connect with Ducks, especially close to my home. I am also very involved with the Friends of Oregon Rowing, which has connected me with over 500 other former rowers, coaches, and coxswains . . . Although I graduated a long time ago, I feel more connected to the UO now than I have ever been since graduation."
