“This flag which we honor and under which we serve is the emblem of our unity, our power, our thought and purpose as a nation.”

- Woodrow Wilson.

Flag Day is observed each year on June 14 to commemorate the adoption of the United States flag by the Continental Congress in 1777. It is a time to honor the Stars and Stripes as a symbol of our nation's history, freedom, and unity. Flag Day encourages Americans to reflect on the values and sacrifices that the flag represents and to proudly display the flag as a tribute to those who have served and continue to serve our country.

D-Day, June 6, 1944, was one of the most significant military operations in history. On that day, Allied forces landed on the beaches of Normandy, France, launching the campaign that would help liberate Western Europe from N**i occupation during World War II. More than 156,000 American, British, Canadian, and other Allied troops participated in the invasion, displaying extraordinary courage, sacrifice, and determination. D-Day remains a powerful reminder of the bravery of those who fought for freedom and the enduring importance of preserving peace.
