📣SHOUTOUT📣

🐷🏆 Diamond H Classic | Paris, TX 🏆🐷

Saturday, four of our pig kids headed to Diamond H Classic in Paris, and after a long day in the ring, they came home with some banners and plenty to be proud of! 🎉

Harper had an outstanding day, earning 3rd Overall in Senior Showmanship! In Ring 1, she placed:
🥈 2nd in her Hampshire class
🥈 2nd in Light Crossbred
🥈 2nd in Dark Crossbred
🥈 2nd in Light OPB

In Ring 2, Harper came back strong, earning:
🥇 1st in her Hampshire class
🥇 1st in Dark Crossbred
🥇 1st in Light Crossbred
🥈 2nd in Light OPB

Lola also had a great day, bringing home 1st in her Light Crossbred class! 🎉

We are incredibly proud of all four of our students and the hard work, dedication, and countless hours they put into their projects. Not every show goes exactly how we hope or expect, but what matters most is how we handle the challenges along the way. These kids held their heads high, kept pushing forward, and represented themselves and our program well!

Congratulations to everyone on a great day in the ring! We are so proud of you all and can’t wait to see what’s next!

They competed at the Jacksonville Leadership Development Event in Jacksonville, TX, pulling off a FIRST PLACE win on their first contest of the 2026 LDE season! They competed against high school teams from other parts of the state today. Congratulations to Brayden, Cayden, and Jackson today for stepping out of their comfort zones and sharing their knowledge of Ag Mechanics in the FFA world! We look forward to seeing them in action at the Tarleton State University LDE contest on 10/30!

⭐️ PROGRAM SPOTLIGHT ⭐️

Ennis FFA advisors carried 81 of our HS & JH members combined to the annual State Fair of Texas Ag Awareness Day. It was a beautiful day to be in attendance.

Two requirements that we put on the kids. First, they had to sell four or more fundraiser tickets to attend trip. Second, they had to bring canned goods to donate to the North Texas Food Bank. We averaged about 10 cans per kid today. We have awesome kids.
