Jas 1:17-18 Every gift God freely gives us is good and perfect, streaming down from the Father of lights, who shines from the heavens with no hidden shadow or darkness and is never subject to change. (18) God was delighted to give us birth by the truth of his infallible Word so that we would fulfill his chosen destiny for us and become the favorite ones out of all his creation!

Proverbs 11:24-25 AMPC

[24] There are those who [generously] scatter abroad, and yet increase more; there are those who withhold more than is fitting or what is justly due, but it results only in want. [25] The liberal person shall be enriched, and he who waters shall himself be watered. [II Cor. 9:6-10.]

The liberal person shall be enriched, and he who waters shall himself be watered. [II Cor. 9:6-10.]

I don't think reputation for being popular was Jesus' focus or intention at all.

Doing what HE calls us to do will cost something in the world. Jesus willingly paid it.

Our heart will manifest self or service, death or eternity. You get to decide.

Luk 15:1-7 NOW THE tax collectors and [notorious and N1especially wicked] sinners were all coming near to [Jesus] to listen to Him. (2) And the Pharisees and the scribes kept muttering and indignantly complaining, saying, This man accepts and receives and welcomes [N1preeminently wicked] sinners and eats with them. (3) So He told them this parable: (4) What man of you, if he has a hundred sheep and should lose one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness (desert) and go after the one that is lost until he finds it? (5) And when he has found it, he lays it on his [own] shoulders, rejoicing. (6) And when he gets home, he summons together [his] friends and [his] neighbors, saying to them, Rejoice with me, because I have found my sheep which was lost. (7) Thus, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one [N1especially] wicked person who repents (N2changes his mind, abhorring his errors and misdeeds, and determines to enter upon a better course of life) than over ninety-nine righteous persons who have no need of repentance.

For anyone struggling with overwhelming feelings, emotions, pain, etc.

I am reminded this morning that where we look is where we will go. I know sometimes things seems overwhelming, and impossible.

When we focus on what God HAS done, all the things HE HAS done in, through and for us and lift our praise, it will surely take you up and out of anything the enemy means to keep you bound with.

Memories of painful things, circumstances that seem impossible, feeling alone, abandon, lost, etc. These are meant to keep us bound in them.

Scripture gives us the necessary guide out of these mind and emotion binding events.

So, let's turn our thoughts, focus and memories to HIM and all of what HE has done for us, in and through us. This will be the victory, even your faith that manifests total healing for your soul.

Psa 105:1-5 TPT Go ahead and give God thanks for all the glorious things he has done! Go ahead and worship him! Tell everyone about his wonders! (2) Let’s sing his praises! Sing, and put all of his miracles to music! (3) Shine and make your joyful boast in him, you lovers of God. Let’s be happy and keep rejoicing no matter what. (4) Seek more of his strength! Seek more of him! Let’s always be seeking the light of his face. (5) Don’t you ever forget his miracles and marvels. Hold to your heart every judgment he has decreed.

This Psalm came to me this morning. So many in need of it right now. It's titled in my Bible; In God I Trust

This is the Passion Translation.

Psa 56:1-13 For the Pure and Shining One. King David’s golden song of instruction composed when the Philistines captured him in Gath, to the tune of “The Oppression of the Princes to Come”. Lord, show me your kindness and mercy, for these men oppose and oppress me all day long. (2) Not a day goes by but that somebody harasses me. So many in their pride trample me under their feet. (3) But in the day that I’m afraid, I lay all my fears before you and trust in you with all my heart. (4) What harm could a man bring to me? With God on my side I will not be afraid of what comes. The roaring praises of God fill my heart, and I will always triumph as I trust his promises. (5) Day after day cruel critics distort my words; constantly they plot my collapse. (6) Lurking in the dark, waiting, spying on my movements in secret to take me by surprise, ready to take my life. (7) They don’t deserve to get away with this! Look at their wickedness, their injustice, Lord. In your fierce anger cast them down to defeat. (8) You’ve kept track of all my wandering and my weeping. You’ve stored my many tears in your bottle—not one will be lost. For they are all recorded in your book of remembrance. (9) The very moment I call to you for a father’s help the tide of battle turns and my enemies flee. This one thing I know: God is on my side! (10) I trust in the Lord. And I praise him! I trust in the Word of God. And I praise him! (11) What harm could man do to me? With God on my side I will not be afraid of what comes. My heart overflows with praise to God and for his promises. I will always trust in him. (12) So I’m thanking you with all my heart, with gratitude for all you’ve done. I will do everything I’ve promised you, Lord. (13) For you have saved my soul from death and my feet from stumbling so that I can walk before the Lord bathed in his life-giving light.
