Calling all photographers, painters, and artists! Sunday, March 23rd the Great Marsh will be open dawn to dusk for all interested artists. Take a self-guided tour to paint, take photos, and enjoy the property.

If you are interested in attending, please RSVP to [email protected] with your name and the time you plan to arrive. Check-in will be at the Farm House.

This event is free of charge but we humbly ask for a suggested donation of $20. Donate through our Paypal, Venmo, or make a cash donation at the door.

CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS!

Great Marsh Institute is seeking volunteers to assist with vetting results for our ongoing Marsh Sound Monitoring project.

We are seeking 3-4 patient, detail-oriented individuals to assist with this project. The work can be done from home and at one’s own pace. Training and support will be provided.

Support GMI this Giving Tuesday!

Today Great Marsh Institute joins millions around the world in a day of global generosity. This Giving Tuesday, we ask you to consider making a donation to support the work of Great Marsh Institute.

Each year your support allows us to continue our work in conservation, research, and public programming. Because of your continued generosity, this year we were able to:

🐦 Host monthly programming free to the public through our bird walks and artist days.
🌱 Hold seasonal nature walks free of charge.
🐢 Support the research of local students and scientists through technical support and access to the property.
🎨 Hold our annual Arts at the Great Marsh event free to the public.

TOMORROW: Nature Walk with Diana Cormack
Sunday, October 27th @ 4:00PM

Join us at Great Marsh Institute on Sunday, October 27th at 4pm for a Nature Walk with PA Master Naturalist, Diana Cormack. Last walk of the year, we’ll look and see what is left, seeds, nuts, rose hips and anything else we can find. RSVP to [email protected] to attend.
