Pack 61 went on a camping trip to Hickory Run State Park this weekend. It got below freezing Saturday night but the rest of the weather was very nice and a good time was had by all. 6-7mi hike on the Shades of Death and Sand Springs trails, a stop at the Boulder field, and meals prepared by Cubmaster Alex (egg, ham and cheese on English muffins for breakfasts and walking tacos for dinner!

Yesterday (11/22) Pack 61 went on an outing to Crystal Cave in Kutztown, PA. I remember going there as a kid (which is somehow more than 30 years ago) and I am so glad to have been able to introduce a new generation to this special place! Thank you to all the families that made it out!

Yesterday (11/08/2025) Pack 61 had an outing to the Conowingo Dam in MD to see the eagles that gather there and to hike along the Susquehanna River. Eagles were seen, along with a number of other critters, and it was a beautiful day on the river! Thanks to all the families that made it out!

On October 17th-19th Pack 61 attended the Chester County Council Spook-o-Ree camping trip at Camp Horseshoe! We had great weather and Saturday was jam packed with crafts, archery, BB guns, and many other events! Bracketed by scary stories around the campfire and breakfast pancakes at our site, this is an event you definitely shouldn't miss next year!
