Register online at https://www.racemenu.com/RunfortheSun until Jun 20th at noon (much preferred), then on-site starting at 5:30 pm on the 21st The 1K Kids Run begins at 6:30 pm, followed by the 5K run plus laps from 7:00-8:36 pm. The courses are wholly contained within the park, with the start/finish on the North side of the Park.

Our Story

The 6th Annual Run for the Parks is a 5K run/walk/kids run event to be held Aug 17, 2019 in conjunction with East Brandywine Township Community Day. This annual event has raised almost $35K for capital improvements to the EBT parks which support a myriad of outdoor activities including baseball, soccer, softball, tennis, walking, running, and dog-walking. We also have pavilions for picnics and community gatherings, as well as special events such as Family Movie Night, Concerts in the Park, and Fireworks. Come join us for a great run on a beautiful course through the park and surrounding tree-lined neighborhoods!
