Minnesota Conservative Energy Forum

MnCEF was founded in 2016 to promote conservative, balanced, all-of-the-above energy solutions.

Minnesota Conservative Energy Forum is working to promote a more balanced “all-of- the-above” energy policy that includes current technology, as well as a growing use of solar, wind, and American natural gas. These new technologies will help disrupt an energy market dominated by century-old regulated monopolies. If we’re smart, we can make America energy independent again—which makes for a better, stronger economy, and a more secure America. A balanced approach to energy policy is a win-win for America: more independence for individuals and less dependence on foreign energy sources for the country. We can finally take back control of our energy future from government regulators, monopolies and foreign dictators who have too much control over our economy and our lives.

MnCEF had a great time at the 2026 Better in Our Backyard Mining & Energy Expo!

We enjoyed connecting with a wide variety of folks and having thoughtful conversations about Minnesota’s energy future, natural resources, economic growth, and the role mining plays in strengthening our state and our country.

The panels and discussions throughout the event highlighted the critical role American mining plays in supporting our economy and our country.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by our table, learned about MnCEF, shared their perspectives, and to the organizers for putting together a great event!

Today we remember the 2,977 Americans who lost their lives on September 11th, 2001.

25 years later we still honor their memory, the first responders who ran toward the danger, and the families, communities, and country forever changed that day.

We will never forget.

Our Executive Director, Rachel Stuckey, had the privilege of moderating the panel “Made in America: Securing Our Energy Supply Chain,” facilitating an engaging conversation on strengthening America’s energy future through reliable supply chains, innovation, and commonsense policy.

MnCEF was proud to attend and participate in the 2026 MITI Forum.

Executive Director Rachel Stuckey joined fellow leaders to discuss the importance of political durability. Building bipartisan energy policies that can stand the test of time and provide the certainty needed for long term investment and economic growth.

Rachel highlighted the work of the Minnesota Made Ammonia Coalition as an example of what can be accomplished through collaboration. By bringing together stakeholders from across industries and political perspectives, the coalition helped introduce and advance bipartisan support for legislation to strengthen Minnesota’s ammonia industry and position our state as a leader in next generation manufacturing and agriculture.

Thank you to the organizers and everyone who contributed to a thoughtful discussion about Minnesota’s future. MnCEF looks forward to continuing to work with partners across the state to advance practical, durable energy policies that support innovation, create jobs, and keep Minnesota competitive.

As we celebrate this historic milestone, we’re grateful for those who have helped build and defend our nation and remain committed to supporting policies and solutions that strengthen America’s energy future.

Thank you to Malecha Farms and BioGas Co for welcoming MnCEF to their farm and showcasing their anaerobic digestion and renewable natural gas project.

It was a great opportunity to see firsthand how agricultural innovation and energy development can work together to create value for farmers, support rural communities, and contribute to a more diverse energy future.

We appreciate the hospitality and the chance to learn more about these exciting projects.

MnCEF was pleased to attend the 2026 Midwest Farm Energy Conference hosted by the University of Minnesota Morris.

It was a great opportunity to connect with stakeholders from across the agriculture and energy sectors and participate in discussions on topics ranging from green ammonia production to solar and wind energy.

Thank you to the University of Minnesota Morris and everyone who helped make this year’s conference a success. We appreciate the opportunity to be part of the conversation about the future of agriculture and energy in Minnesota.
