🚌 Have thoughts on transit fares? There is still time to voice your opinion.

Metro Transit is collecting public feedback on proposed fare changes and new ways to pay—through May 26.

Here’s a quick look at what’s being proposed:

💳 Simpler fares
• Express buses: flat $3 for adults, anytime
• Youth ride for $1 (expanded to include ages 12–18)
• $1 reduced fare for seniors (65+), TAP customers, Medicare cardholders & riders with limited mobility

📉 Lower monthly pass cost
• 31-Day Pass drops from $120 → $96

🚐 Metro micro updates
• $4 per ride, anytime

📱 Easier ways to pay
• Tap to pay with credit/debit cards or mobile wallets (like Apple Pay)
• Daily & monthly fare caps so you don’t overpay
• Cash still accepted

Your input helps shape how transit works in our region—so don’t sit this one out.

There is still time to give Metro Transit input on proposed fare changes—including simpler pricing, expanded $1 youth fares (up to age 18), and capped daily/monthly costs to make transit more affordable.

Before anything is finalized, they want to hear from the people who actually ride (or would ride).

💬 Public comments are open now through May 26
