Please reference the following MN Statute whenever reporting neglect or cruelty to AHS Humane Investigations or the Animal Control in the county where you live: https://www.revisor.mn.gov/statutes/cite/346.41

It is also very helpful to document the neglect/cruelty by taking photos and submitting them along with the complaint. The only way legally to stop neglect/cruelty is with proof, and that usually comes with photographic evidence. Come bun, come all, to our spooky carnival!

As the weather cools and autumn arrives, in rolls a mysterious event: Halloween Hoppy Hour!

For one afternoon only, on Sunday, October 25 from 1-3, our South Saint Paul location will transform into the Boos & Buns Carnival. It's a special Hoppy Hour that features thrills, chills, and carnival vittles! We'll have fun activities for you and your bunnies, including:

🎃 two photobooths - one under the spooky big top, and one classic Halloween scene
🎃 caricature drawing -- of your bunnies!
🎃 just-for-fun fortune tellers - for you AND your bunnies
🎃 carnival-themed snacks (fresh cotton candy, anyone?)
🎃 pet costume sale (new and used)
🎃 games and surprises for bunnies & their humans

As always, our volunteers are on hand to provide nail trims & grooming services and supply sales.

We hope you'll join us for some spooktacular carnival fun! Just as a reminder: Bunnies must have proof of current RHDV2 vaccination to attend Hoppy Hour.

Thank you to everyone who attended our In-Person Bonding Clinic!

We are planning on doing another one in the Spring, so look out for the announcement next year!

For those that weren't able to attend, please consider taking our free online monthly bonding class.

Here are some basic tips from our experts:
1. Start small! The pen should start the size of just one litter box.
2. Be calm. If you had a bad day or in a bad mood, skip that day. They will pick up on those feelings.
3. Take your time. You wouldn't move in with a random person, your bunny won't either! They need time to get to know the bunny before moving in.
4. Before you start bonding, consider bringing them to one of our Hoppy Hours! It helps them learn how to interact with other bunnies safely before starting the process.

Bonding can be tricky, but we're here to help! Join us for our first In-Person Bunny Bonding Clinic to navigate challenges, learn from others, and help your bunnies build a stronger bond.

📅 October 10 | 1–3 PM
📍 South St. Paul location
💚 FREE to attend ($25 suggested donation)

Limited spots available! Ten spots for participants bringing their bunnies. We'll provide the supplies, you bring the buns!

Six spectator spots for those who want to watch and learn without bringing their rabbits.

All attendees must complete our online bunny bonding class before attending.
