Join East Hampton author David Cataletto as he shares the history and inspiration behind his novel KINGS OF THE COAST, MONTAUK—a historical adventure set right here on the East End in the 1600s.

Written with young teens and young adults in mind, the novel was inspired by real history, people, and local events.

In this talk, David will share what it was like bringing early Montauk back to life and will read a few action-packed scenes, including a Montaukett whale hunt and the wedding raid that kicks off the book’s main adventure.
