ARF is a registered 501c3. Established in 1974, the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons, also known as ARF Hamptons, is a nonprofit organization that has rescued more than 33,500 cats and dogs. Entirely funded by donations, ARF provides food, shelter,

love, medical care, and behavioral training for its rescue animals for as long as it takes to find loving homes.

Summer has officially arrived, and what a way to kick it off! ☀️🐾

An incredible 17 cats and dogs found loving homes this past week at ARF Hamptons, making it one of our happiest starts to the season yet!

We are especially thrilled for senior FIV positive kitty McFluffy, who finally got the second chance he deserved and found someone who loves him exactly as he is.

Four-year-old Bo patiently waited for another family to call his own, and sweet Thea’s dreams came true too. Joining them on their journeys home are Dexter, Bagheera, Birdie, Oakley, Bam Bam, Penguin, Gucci, Puma, Khaleesi and Sansa, who were adopted together, Unicorn, Koala, Clark, and Bear!

These lucky animals are now settling into lives filled with cozy beds, full bowls, belly rubs, sunny windows, and most importantly, unconditional love.

Congratulations to all of our adopters and thank you to everyone who supports our cause. Because of you, homeless cats and dogs continue to get the second chances they deserve and find the perfect families to love them forever. 🐶🐱 Happy tails and happy summer! 💚

With his soft fur, gentle purrs, and irresistible charm, two-month-old Bear is just like a tiny teddy bear come to life! Part of our adorable Animal Kingdom litter, this sweet kitten loves curling up for cozy naps, chasing toys, and exploring the world alongside his siblings. When playtime is over, he is happiest snuggled up with his favorite people, soaking up all the love and attention he can get.

Bear came to ARF through our Operation Cat program and is now ready to find a forever home where he can continue to grow into the affectionate companion he is meant to be. Their beautiful summer collection brought style, elegance, and color to the celebration, with members of ARF’s Young Professionals Committee showcasing looks that perfectly complemented a night dedicated to helping homeless cats and dogs find loving homes.

Now it’s time to “Mark the Moment.” Join ARF Hamptons on Friday, July 10, from 5 to 7 PM at J.McLaughlin in Southampton for cocktails, shopping, and the debut of the limited-edition monogram collection created in collaboration with renowned designer Mark D. Sikes.

Nine happy tails are wagging a little harder this morning as nine incredible ARF Hamptons animals have found the loving homes they deserve this past week!!

Scooby’s story is one that truly touched our hearts. Rescued from China in 2019, he was returned to ARF last year after the heartbreaking loss of his beloved person. Confused and struggling to adjust to shelter life again, everything changed when he went into a wonderful foster home last month. That fresh start led him straight to the forever family he had been waiting for.

We are also overjoyed that adorable kittens Sarabi and Ophelia have begun their happily ever after, along with Oatmeal, Libby, Millie, Milan, Givenchy and Balto. Each one is starting a new chapter filled with love, comfort, and the promise of brighter days ahead.

To every adopter who opened their heart and home, thank you for choosing rescue. To our incredible rescue partners and our generous supporters, thank you for making stories like these possible. Your compassion and commitment give animals a second chance and help us continue this lifesaving work every single day.

Congratulations to all nine of our newest family members. We could not be happier for you. 💚

Tomorrow night at Rescues & Rosé, you’ll have the very first opportunity to meet some of ARF Hamptons’ newest puppies, dogs, and kittens before anyone else. 🐾

These adorable faces just arrived, and they’re ready to steal hearts. And while only a few kittens are pictured here, even more tiny feline friends will be joining the party!

Want a sneak peek before they become available for adoption? Rescues & Rosé is your chance to meet them first, mingle with fellow animal lovers, sip rosé, and support the animals who need us most.

Some waited months. Some waited years. Several waited only days. This week, every wait was worth it when 12 ARF animals finally went HOME! 🏡

Meredith spent more than a year at ARF after losing the person she loved most. Shadow was returned to the shelter twice and then waited four years before finding the family meant for him. Scout patiently hoped for eight months after her owner could no longer care for her. Haymitch nearly grew up at ARF before going to a foster home which became his forever home.

Stormfly found the perfect match after her first adoption didn’t work out. Macaroni served up one happy ending as the last pasta pup to find a family. Luna is off to a life where she’s the center of someone’s universe. Kolter found the forever home everyone knew was out there for him. Kim Corg-dashian made a quick exit with her new family after being returned, and kittens Tweety, Sylvester, and Kiara were scooped up in no time at all.

Every adoption tells a different story, but they all end the same way: with love, belonging, and a second, third, or even fourth chance. ❤️‍🩹

Thank you to every adopter who opened their heart and home to a shelter pet. Because of you, 12 more animals are exactly where they were always meant to be. 💚

FOSTER NEEDED!
Phinjamin has so much potential and is looking for someone willing to help him shine. This playful, affectionate, one-year-old Lab mix has a big personality, loves other dogs, and is always ready for fun. Shelter life has been challenging for him, and what he needs most right now is a patient foster home where he can learn, grow, and feel secure. Phinjamin has allergies to cats, grass, and peanuts, so he would do best in a home without cats and in an environment that is more city or sandy beach than grassy countryside. ARF is seeking a foster with positive training experience who can help guide him as he works on building confidence and adjusting to life outside the shelter. Ongoing training and support will be provided through ARF, and the foster will be asked to attend regular training sessions with him. By opening your home to Phinjamin, you can make a life changing difference for a young dog who is full of promise and ready for his next chapter. From wagging tails to smiling faces, our adoptable pups were proud to join the festivities and walk alongside so many incredible supporters. Thank you to the volunteers who gave their time, energy, and hearts to help represent ARF and the animals we care for.

At ARF, we believe every animal deserves to be loved, respected, and welcomed for exactly who they are. Pride is a reminder that kindness, compassion, and belonging have the power to change lives. Today, we celebrated the joy of being seen, accepted, and loved, just as we are.

She may take a little time to warm up, but once she trusts you, she’ll happily become your shadow. Kimchi loves being pet, enjoys playtime with her toys, and isn’t shy about letting you know when she’s ready for attention.
