PEOPLE!!!! Sunday is our annual Montauk Mile and if you are not registered yet, you should be!

Why? Glad you asked. If you are over 21 you get a free beer courtesy of Montauk Brewing Company. If you are REALLY fast and win the race, you get CASH-- courtesy of OMAC. If you are the coolest, you'll be the 67th overall finisher (get it--6-7 on 6-7) and you'll win a pack of ferry tickets courtesy of South Ferry.

Please join OMAC to celebrate the holidays! We will be gathering at the Montauk Brewing Company on Thursday December 11 from 5-7pm.
If you don't know OMAC - Old Montauk Athletic Club, we are the group that puts together so many of your favorite events each year-- the Mayday 5K, the Montauk Mile, the Great Bonac Footraces, the Brewathlon, Serpents Back Duathlon. We use the money raised to support our communities: we give out scholarships to high school students, we donate money to organizations such as the The Tyler Project and the local food pantries, and we support athletes who wish to participate in important meets and competitions elsewhere. We are also a fun group of people to hang out with and we would love to celebrate the holidays with you! Please join us on Thursday!

This week the OMAC board voted to donate additional funds to the local food pantries- East Hampton, Springs, and Montauk. These places are doing amazing work in providing food to our neighbors and friends. There are so many ways to get involved and help out, we encourage everyone to do what feels best for them! Reach out to your local food pantry and see what is most helpful-- volunteering, donating food, donating money, hanging up flyers, driving people to pick up food. Our neighbors who rely on SNAP to make ends meet are struggling, and we can come together as a community to make a difference.

On Saturday, OMAC and Montauk Brewing Company brought back the Brewathlon, and it was a huge success! Thanks to all at MBC and Tilray who helped get this event back off the ground-- especially to Vaughan Cutillo and Erin Burns. elitefeats once again was incredible to work with and captured some great moments from the event! (Link to photo gallery below).

Thanks, too, to all of those who helped out before the event and helped clean up afterwards! I love this community so much!

You are registering for your TEAM :) That team should consist of a 1-mile runner, a 3000-meter rower, a 10K biker, and a 3-mile runner. Two women must be on each team.
