Got photos gathering dust in the attic, or memories gathering dust in your head? Submit them to the Hamptons Pride Archive!

The Hamptons Pride Archive seeks to showcase and remember "The Miracle Mile," home to a robust community of LGBTQ+ people and allies, and the places they gathered across the East End from the 1950's through the early 2000's.

Help Hamptons Pride build our archive by submitting your photos and stories at: https://forms.gle/NAAKufN5Vxn1BVpk6

Stretching across Montauk Highway in Wainscott, the Miracle Mile was comprised of bars, restaurants, and nightclubs that were friendly to or built by and for the LGBTQ+ community. From the 1950’s through the early 2000’s, businesses along the Miracle Mile provided the space for LGBTQ+ people and allies to gather, celebrate, organize, and connect.

Today, Hamptons Pride honors the legacy of the Miracle Mile through the establishment of the Hamptons Pride Monument at Wainscott Green in East Hampton, the former site of The Swamp & Annex, the last surviving members of the Miracle Mile.

Notable locations along the Miracle Mile included: Out of This World, The Attic, and The Swamp & Annex.

Throwback to this year's Hamptons Pride Parade!

We can hardly believe it's only been a few short months since our 5th Annual Pride Parade! We are already eagerly looking forward to next year's celebrations!

Whether you marched in the parade or cheered from the sidelines, we are endlessly grateful for your ongoing support. As a non-profit volunteer-run organization, Hamptons Pride relies on the generosity of individuals, such as yourself, to maintain our operations and to continue to provide a space for our community to gather in safe, celebratory environments.

Please consider making a suggested $10 donation to help us keep going strong, all year-round! https://hamptonspride.org/support-hamptons-pride/

Your donation, no matter the size, directly impacts our ability to continue to host events, to expand our programming, and to raise awareness of the rich LGBTQIA+ history of The Hamptons.

Looking for an afternoon of laughs featuring drag, musical numbers, and elaborate deceptions?

Join us on Sunday, September 27 at 4pm to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of "The Birdcage," a cult-classic that's been described as an "enchantingly witty" film that "has everything in place, from eyeliner to one-liner." (Entertainment Weekly, The Washington Post)

Celebrate in style! Dress in your best 90s Miami, and join the "We Are Family" community singalong :)

Synopsis: A gay cabaret owner and his drag-queen partner agree to put up a false straight front so their son can introduce them to his fiancée’s right-wing, conservative parents. Starring Robin Williams, Nathan Lane, Gene Hackman, Dianne Wiest, Calista Flockhart, Hank Azaria, and Christine Baranski. Directed by Mike Nichols.

Hosted at Bay Street Theater as part of our year-round Pride Film Series. Advance tix are just $10 and keep the series going. On sale now at: https://www.baystreet.org/performance/the-birdcage-1996/

Folks, our generous friends at The HUB in Bridgehampton are donating all door proceeds from their Men’s Fashion Event this Friday, 6–9pm, to Hamptons Pride!

With a requested donation of $25 or more, you’ll receive:
• a pair of luxury NEUDE underwear ($40 value)
• a $25 HUB gift card
• TWO drink tickets

That’s $65 in merch, plus drinks, for $25—all while supporting local Pride.

Hamptons Pride is an all-volunteer-run 501(c)(3) public charity. We organize the annual Pride Parade in East Hampton Village on the first Saturday of June, the monthly Pride Film Series at Bay Street Theater, annual World AIDS Day observances at rotating local venues, and we’re gearing up to break ground on a world-class outdoor social area at Wainscott Green honoring the East End’s LGBTQIA+ community and our allies.

Our work depends on contributions from people just like you. Thank you for whatever you can spare—and come have a great time Friday!

Friends, our commemoration of the 39th World AIDS Day will be at beautiful St. Luke's, Nov 28 to Dec 1, with over 40 quilts on display from the National Memorial, including those of dearly missed East Enders. Join us as we remember and honor our beloved friends and family.

Viewing the Quilts is always free and open to the public. Deep gratitude to St. Luke's for the donation of such a glorious venue.

Hamptons Pride incurs fees of $4000 to $5000 a year to bring these yearly observances to local venues. If you or your organization or business would like to help support this local Names Project, please message or email us at [email protected].

Revisiting an unforgettable moment from our World AIDS Day observance at LTV Studios last fall. Christiane Arbesu @ Terrebonne Productions gifted us this loving video of Inda Eaton performing Bruce Springsteen's "Streets of Philadelphia," a song "out of everyone's wheelhouse." With Jeff Marshall on percussion. Thank you again, Inda, Jeff, and Christiane!💕🙏 And, friends, stay tuned. We've started planning this year's observance, from November 28 to Dec 1, and will have some special announcements soon.
