We are sad to learn of the passing of Katrina Blair of Turtle Lake Refuge. Katrina was a kind and passionate soul and an important person in our community. We pass along our healing thoughts to Katrina's family, friends, and the Turtle Lake community.

The Durango Farmers Market is deeply saddened by the passing of Katrina Blair.

Katrina was a longtime vendor, educator, advocate, and friend whose passion for local food and community touched countless lives. Through Turtle Lake Refuge, she inspired generations to reconnect with the land, embrace sustainability, and find nourishment in the natural world.

Her presence at the market was a reminder that food is more than what we eat - it is a connection to place, to one another, and to the abundance that surrounds us.

We are grateful for the wisdom, kindness, and vision she shared with our community.

Our thoughts are with her family, friends, and the entire Turtle Lake Refuge family during this difficult time.

Thank you, Katrina. Your legacy will continue to grow.
