We're celebrating 50 years of SASO in 2027, and we're looking for old photos, stories, and memories to help us look back on our history!
⠀
Were you a volunteer, staff member, or community partner? Did you attend one of our fundraisers or events? Maybe you have an old flyer, newspaper clipping, or photo from years ago.
⠀
We'd love to hear from you!
⠀
We'd also love to hear from anyone whose life has been touched by SASO's work. You can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with.
⠀
Have something to share? Email [email protected] by November 13, 2026. If you're sending photos, it would be helpful to know when they were taken and who's in them.
⠀
Know someone who was involved with SASO years ago? Share this post with them! They might have a photo or memory we'd love to include.
⠀
Thank you for helping us look back on 50 years of SASO!
⠀
A quick note about privacy: Please don't share personal or identifying information about survivors in the comments. Sharing your story is always optional, and we'll ask for permission before publishing any personal stories or identifying photos.

Today, on Indigenous Peoples' Day, we honor and celebrate the rich histories, cultures, resilience, and contributions of Indigenous communities.

Indigenous cultures are living, thriving, and continuing to shape our communities through art, language, traditions, and leadership.

We invite you to explore this post, learn something new, and find ways to celebrate and support Indigenous communities, not just today, but every day.

Today is National Coming Out Day!

Coming out is a personal journey, and everyone's experience is different. Whether you're out, still exploring your identity, or choosing not to share, you deserve to feel safe, supported, and respected.

Everyone deserves to come out when and how they feel comfortable. Your identity is valid, and you deserve to make those decisions on your own terms.

At SASO, we stand with the 2SLGBTQ+ community today and every day.

SASO stands with Jane Doe and with every survivor.

The conversations happening right now are a reminder that survivors deserve to be heard, believed, and supported. They also deserve to have their privacy, boundaries, and choices about healing respected.

If you or someone you know needs support, SASO’s confidential 24/7 Support Line is available at 970-247-5400.

We stand with Jane Doe. We stand with survivors.

Four Corners Child Advocacy Center

💙 Meet the Team Behind the Mission 💙

At our Child Advocacy Center, every child deserves to be heard, supported, and surrounded by people who are committed to their healing and well-being. Our team works together to provide compassionate, trauma-informed care and to help children and families navigate some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

While each of us has a different role, we share one purpose: to advocate for children, support families, and help bring healing and hope to those we serve. 💙

We are proud of the work we do and grateful for the opportunity to stand alongside children and families in our community. Together, we are stronger. Together, we make a difference. 🌟
