🐾🍂 PAWS OF GRATITUDE: OUR NOVEMBER NEWSLETTER IS HERE! 🍂🐾

November is a time for gratitude, and here at Step of Faith K9’s, we have so much to be thankful for! ❤️

This month, we're celebrating the dogs who have gone home this year, recognizing the incredible volunteers and supporters who stand beside us, and sharing a special testimony from Zach about his journey with Enzo, his Belgian Malinois. 🐕💙

Zach’s story is a beautiful reminder that what we do goes beyond dog training. It's about trust, compassion, relationships, and making a difference in the lives of both dogs and their people. His words mean more to us than he may ever know.

But we're not stopping at gratitude! 🍁

We're also excited to introduce 🇺🇸 OPERATION: HOMEFRONT 🇺🇸, our December supply drive! As we prepare for another month of training and caring for our dogs, we're asking our community to help us stock the supplies we need to keep our four-legged trainees learning, growing, and preparing for their future partners.

Whether you've donated, volunteered, shared our posts, encouraged us, or simply followed our dogs' journeys, YOU are part of this mission. Every act of kindness helps us continue our work with veterans, first responders, and individuals with disabilities.

🇺🇸🐾 What a GREAT weekend at the DAV Convention in La Crosse, Wisconsin! 🐾🇺🇸

We had a wonderful time connecting with veterans, meeting new people, and sharing the mission of Step of Faith K9’s! Every conversation is an opportunity to spread awareness about the life-changing impact of task-trained service dogs and the independence, confidence, and companionship they can bring to those who have served our country.

We are grateful for the opportunity to be part of the DAV community and to connect with so many people who understand the importance of supporting our veterans.

🐾 Service dog training doesn’t always look like work. Sometimes, it looks like this. 💙

We’re spending time at the DAV Fall Conference in La Crosse, Wisconsin, with Rascal, showing that service dog training happens in the everyday moments, too.

Sometimes, training means learning to settle in a busy environment, remain calm around new people, and simply be present. These moments may look ordinary, but they’re building the foundation for something extraordinary. 🇺🇸

A service dog isn’t just trained to perform tasks. They become a battle buddy, a trusted partner, and a steady presence through life’s challenges.

Every experience helps prepare these dogs for the important role they may one day fill in a veteran’s life.

One moment. One lesson. One step closer to changing a life.

Sometimes, it looks like ordinary, everyday moments. A trip to the store, a walk through the community, or simply sitting together and enjoying life.

But behind those moments is a purpose, a partnership, and a battle buddy learning how to be there when it matters most. 🇺🇸

It's not just about teaching a dog tasks. It's about building trust, restoring independence, and creating a bond that changes lives—four paws at a time. 💙

🍬🎃 FREE CANDY… WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG?! 😂👻

When Step of Faith K9’s shows up for Halloween, you never know what you’re going to get! 🤣

We’ve got Michael Myers handing out candy, a spooky van, Halloween decorations, Scout, and Trooper keeping an eye on things like the professional they are! 🐾🦇

The boys are probably thinking, “I’m a service dog, not a witness protection program participant!” 😂🐩

All jokes aside, we love getting out into the community, spreading smiles, and showing that service dogs can be part of everyday adventures, too! 💙💛
