Today 14 members and 2 guests met for the monthly meeting of Land of Cotton Smocking Guild. Jill Boozer walked us through making a zippered bag. Everyone had a wonderful experience and produced some beautifully sewn bags! Next month we will begin making a ready-to-smock bishop.

Pictures from our last two meetings where in March we made bowl cozies and in April we cut out and sewed Wee Care gowns. Our talented member Ginger showed us a men’s shirt she converted to a blouse for herself and also a Wee Care outfit made using a vintage hankie she’ll apply shadow work.
