🔥 Starting 2026 with Teamwork! 🔥
Pinckard Volunteer Fire Department kicked off the New Year working side-by-side with our neighbors. On New Year’s Eve, our units assisted Newton Fire with a structure fire.
A huge thank you to the crews from Wicksburg Fire, Echo EMS, and the Dale County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) for their vital assistance on the scene. 🤝
We are proud to serve alongside such dedicated departments to keep our community safe. Here’s to a safe 2026 for all! 🚒🚑🚓

PVFD along with other Fire and EMS units were dispatched to County Road 49 for possible house fire. Units arrived on scene to find the stove on fire. PVFD had a quick knock down on the fire and removed the stove from the residence. There was no extension to anywhere else in the home and fire was contained to the area the stove was in. The house was vented due to significant smoke in the residence. Units returned to service a short time later. Great Job to everyone involved for containing the fire to the kitchen area and quick work on getting the fire under control.

Thank you Anheuser-Busch and National Volunteer Fire Council for the geneorous donation of emergency drinking water, and to Adams Beverage for delivering it to our fire station! This water will help keep our firefighters hydrated during wildfires and extended responses in extreme heat. The following other departments also received the water donation.
