Lansing is talking about the governance structure for three of our R1 public universities, and the Detroit Regional Chamber applauds them for it. Michigan's other public universities have seen stable and effective leadership over the years with a governor-appointed model that includes both parties. Michigan needs to find common ground on this important matter.
