Mission Statement
Dog Aide supports Detroit dog-owners and their dogs by providing underserved families with access to the resources, care, and assistance they need to keep their pets safe, happy, and healthy in their homes. Vision Statement
All Detroit dogs and their owners have what they need to sustain mutually rewarding relationships, and all pets are kept with their people. Detroit families have the resources, knowledge, and support to maintain adequate care for their owned dogs. Owned dogs in Detroit are fed, enriched, licensed, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, protected outdoors, and living indoors. DEI Statement
Dog Aide values our program participants, volunteers, and partners for the unique individuals they are. We welcome, respect, and learn from the diverse perspectives and experiences that each person brings to our organization. We work to provide equitable opportunities for program participation and volunteer involvement, and we do not discriminate based on race, ethnicity, national origin/ancestry, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, religion, disability, socioeconomic status, marital status, or military status.
