We had a blast at the 5th Annual Kemp Klein Law Firm Charity Golf Classic on Monday! We were blessed to be the charity that benefitted from the proceeds of the golf classic. The mission of the Kemp Klein Foundation is to provide support to charitable organizations and promote volunteerism throughout the firm and community. Since its inception, the Foundation has contributed over $1,000,000 to hundreds of worthwhile causes which reflect our shared values and commitment to strengthening the communities we serve. Thank you so much to everyone who came out to play golf and support the Capuchins!

Transformation happens when people are given the opportunity, support and community to build a new path forward.

Through the R.O.P.E. (Reaching Our Potential Everyday) program at the Capuchin Soup Kitchen, men returning from incarceration or recovery from substance use receive support, learn baking and life skills, and work toward a fresh start through On the Rise Bakery.

Watch their stories of transformation, hope and perseverance — and learn more about the R.O.P.E. program and the people behind it.

Today the team from Henry Ford OptimEyes came to deliver glasses to our guests! Earlier this month, Henry Ford provided free eye exams for our guests and then they are able to pick out frames. Once the glasses are done, the guests come back and pick up their glasses - which is what happened today. We are very grateful to Henry Ford OptimEyes for providing this invaluable service to our guests!
