With support from the Fred and Barbara Erb Family Foundation, our team will continue to further its work to grow a stronger local food economy in Michigan. We look forward to what's ahead!

Fair Food Network is a nonprofit working to strengthen Southeast Michigan's local food economy through investment and technical assistance. Its Farm to Retail Accelerator will connect farmers, processors, distributors, and retailers, testing practical ways for small businesses to source locally and keep more food dollars with the region's own farmers and producers.

Yesterday, Fair Food Network attended the Ann Arbor Local Food Festival at the Ann Arbor Farmers Market!

Through Double Up Food Bucks Michigan, Michigan Good Food Fund, and our broader work, we’re helping build stronger connections between people, local food, farmers, and communities across Michigan.

It was also great seeing some of our partners along the way, including Argus Farm Stop, The Farm at Trinity Health Ann Arbor, Growing Hope, Damiens Craft Meats, and Agricole Farm Stop.

At the Michigan State Capitol, we’re celebrating the connection between local food and Michigan's communities at Michigan Farmers Market Association's Farmers Market at the Capitol.

Local food brings people together, keeps dollars circulating in our communities, and creates opportunities for Michigan farmers and families. We're proud that our Double Up Food Bucks program is part of that connection, helping families bring home more fresh, healthy food while supporting Michigan's growers and local food economies.

Honored to be part of this cohort alongside organizations working to help Southeast Michigan’s small businesses and communities thrive. We’re excited to learn, collaborate, and keep building a stronger, more resilient local economy together.

Today, we're welcoming 10 organizations from across Southeast Michigan into the Sustainable Business Innovation Cohort — our new, three-year commitment to the entities that help small businesses thrive financially while making decisions that are good for their employees, their community, and the planet. It's a belief Fred and Barbara Erb held long before it was common - that a business can do well and do right at the same time.

These partners work with small businesses and entrepreneurs across industries, communities, and stages of growth. Over the next three years, they'll receive funding, coaching to sharpen how they learn and adapt, and a community of peers.

In the weeks ahead, we'll introduce each organization and the small businesses they serve.

The latest GusNIP impact findings are here! See the impact of nutrition incentives and produce prescriptions nationwide.

🎉 We’re excited to share the GusNIP Year 6 Impact Findings Report!

This year's findings tell an important story about what happens when people have better access to fruits and vegetables.

Across the GusNIP network, participants reported improvements in food security, eating habits, and health. The findings also highlight the broader impact nutrition incentive and produce prescription projects are making in communities nationwide.
