We are proud to partner with Joe Louis Greenway Partnership to create opportunities for Detroiters and develop safe, inclusive spaces for residents.

The Joe Louis Greenway is a 29-mile green space that will connect 23 Detroit neighborhoods. It will help expand access to homeownership, support for small businesses, and pathways to new jobs. The greenway will also provide programming for people of all ages and allow residents to travel safely throughout Detroit.

Nearly 40 years later, The Heidelberg Project is one of Detroit’s most beloved cultural landmarks, and we’re honored to support its next chapter by investmenting in the renovation of the Number House. Once restored, it will be a welcoming arts and community space with an artist-in-residence program and programming for the neighborhood.

Your presence, energy, and commitment to Detroit’s business community helped make this year’s DBS an incredible success.

Together, we brought entrepreneurs, business leaders, community organizations, and resources under one roof to connect, learn, build relationships, and create new opportunities.

We were honored to welcome an incredible lineup of speakers and special guests, including Morris Chestnut, Claudia Jordan, Orlando Bailey, A***n Simone, Brooke M. Edwards, Lashawna R. Manigault, Madala Mathurin, Maia Anthony, Jesse Dorsey, Matthew Nelson, Tee Twotimes, Britney Epps, Ebony L. Walls, Melissa Butler, Chris Crawford, Denzell Turner, Dominique Boyer, Fred Paul, Jaylen J. Burton, Martez Brooks and Jazmine Johnson.

Most importantly, we were able to put real resources back into the community.

15 Detroit small businesses received $2,500 grants to help support their continued growth and success.

We also proudly recognized Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. — Rho Sigma Detroit Alumnae Chapter with a $2,500 community service award after documenting an outstanding 964.5 confirmed community service hours.

Over the weekend, we had the honor of attending the Heidelberg Project 40th Anniversary Gala and celebrating 40 years of the The Heidelberg Project in style! 🎨💙

The night was filled with laughter and joy, with everyone dressed in their best Heidelberg Project-inspired outfits. Attendees also had the opportunity to experience Tyree Guyton's solo exhibition, "Everlasting Life."

Detroit Month of Design was filled with creativity and unity across the city and showcased the importance of bridging community with art.

Eastern Market After Dark brought the entire city together to celebrate and create a space for creatives and vendors to showcase their work. We also proudly supported six neighborhood-based organizations to help produce their own events during Detroit Month of Design, emphasizing our commitment to creating access to the arts and building career pathways for creatives in Detroit.
