Sold out! 🎉 “As a culture worker who belongs to an oppressed people, my job is to make revolution irresistible.” —Toni Cade Bambara
On Saturday, we felt the power of that call in a room full of community, reflection, and possibility. We filled the ’s community event space for a sold-out screening of the Toni Cade Bambara School of Organizing documentary and the premiere of our original documentary short, What It Takes to Build, directed by radical play.
Thank you to everyone who showed up, volunteered, and helped make the evening so memorable. Together, we reflected on Black feminist media organizing, art as a tool for liberation, and the powerful lineages rooted in Detroit and reaching far beyond.
Special thanks to TCB - The Toni Cade Bambara School of Organizing for helping make this program possible.
We can’t wait to gather with more of our community at upcoming AMP programs. Stay tuned! 🌱
