Our artists painted a BIG wave using acrylic paint on watercolor paper!

It worked out beautifully—even some students who don’t typically participate joined in! 💙 We’ll definitely be doing more projects like this! ✨

Celebrating inclusion at the 1in6 Abilities Parade in Midland!

We loved seeing our amazing teaching artist in action—helping participants decorate posters, encouraging everyone to try new musical instruments, and creating opportunities for creativity and connection.

A special moment was also getting to meet Senator Chedrick Greene!

It was great to have a chance to talk with Senator Greene at the Celebration of Abilities Parade & Inclusion Race in Midland over the weekend. He shares our concerns about the dramatic federal cuts to Medicaid that take effect in January and the negative effects they are going to have for the people MiAA serves, as well as the challenges the state is going to face with the next budget.
