CODE313 students, staff, and community partners pushed the possibilities of drone technology to incredible new heights:

Wednesday: We joined the Detroit Fire Department’s Junior Fire Cadet Program to explore drones in emergency response, search and rescue, and fire safety.

Thursday: At the DTE Energy Training Facility, students demonstrated how drones support disaster assessments, power-line maintenance, and critical infrastructure inspections.

Friday: Our team experienced the magical DroneArt Harry Potter Show at Wayne State University. Huge thanks to Fever for donating tickets!

Saturday: 13 teams battled it out in the Summer League Drone Basketball Tournament. Congratulations to Cornerstone Jefferson Davis on taking 1st place after a thrilling final against CODE313 Team Blue!

Big News! CODE313 has been selected to participate in the Rocket Community Challenge!

We’re participating in this year’s challenge to expand our reach and ensure every young scholar has access to hands-on S.T.E.A.M. education alongside their support system.

Our goal is to raise $20,000, which will directly fund our S.T.E.A.M. Family Nights: free, interactive community events where parents and kids can explore robotics, coding, drones, and emerging tech together.
