LAUNCH313 is looking for guest speakers, mentors and professionals ready to bring the real need-to-know knowledge to our youth & young adult cohort, ages 15–26.

We’re seeking expertise in legal, marketing, finance, accounting, grant writing, HR, technology/AI, insurance, branding, social media, banking, sales and more — plus entrepreneurs from all industries, including fashion, hair & beauty, retail, music, manufacturing, gaming, automotive, healthcare, food and professional services.

If you can help emerging founders build smarter, avoid costly mistakes, business plans, why insurance?, understand the money and launch with confidence, we want to hear from you.

If you’re 15–26 and ready to build your idea, sharpen your creativity, and learn how to move your vision forward, this Detroit-based youth & young adult entrepreneurship cohort was built for you.

Across four Saturday sessions, participants will learn by doing business planning, branding, money basics, networking, pitching, and more with guidance and visits from professionals across different fields and industries.

CODE313 students, staff, and community partners pushed the possibilities of drone technology to incredible new heights:

Wednesday: We joined the Detroit Fire Department’s Junior Fire Cadet Program to explore drones in emergency response, search and rescue, and fire safety.

Thursday: At the DTE Energy Training Facility, students demonstrated how drones support disaster assessments, power-line maintenance, and critical infrastructure inspections.

Friday: Our team experienced the magical DroneArt Harry Potter Show at Wayne State University. Huge thanks to Fever for donating tickets!

Saturday: 13 teams battled it out in the Summer League Drone Basketball Tournament. Congratulations to Cornerstone Jefferson Davis on taking 1st place after a thrilling final against CODE313 Team Blue!

Big News! CODE313 has been selected to participate in the Rocket Community Challenge!

We’re participating in this year’s challenge to expand our reach and ensure every young scholar has access to hands-on S.T.E.A.M. education alongside their support system.

Our goal is to raise $20,000, which will directly fund our S.T.E.A.M. Family Nights: free, interactive community events where parents and kids can explore robotics, coding, drones, and emerging tech together.
