We are still buzzing from the incredible energy at the CODE313 x Detroit Pistons x SEFMD x Motor City Cruise STEAM SLAM! A massive 7,000+ students joined us over two unforgettable days to get completely hands-on with Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math. Seeing the spark of curiosity as students dove straight into our vendor activations — the true heartbeat of the event — reminded us exactly why we do this. From robotics to creative design, the next generation of innovators absolutely crushed it!

CODE313 in partnership with the AI Education Project (aiEDU), Broadcom Foundation , and TIES Teaching Institute for Excellence in STEM will host the Educators’ STEAM Summit on AI Education. This convening responds to the rapidly growing role of artificial intelligence in education and daily life and seeks to harness this momentum to mobilize a coalition of education leaders and ecosystem partners across the Metropolitan Detroit area. Together, we aim to take a leadership role in addressing and closing the AI education gap.

Featured keynote speaker Brad Waid Media, International Keynote Speaker, Author, Futurist, Educator, Award-winning Emerging Technology Leader and Visionary specializing in AR/VR/XR, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and Industry 4.0., will open the summit with “Racing the Future: Empowering STEM Learners in an Intelligent Age,” setting the tone for how educators can prepare students for an AI-driven world.
