Climate March

Climate March In 2014, we organized the Great March for Climate Action, a 3,100-mile, 8-month trek from LA to DC.

The goal of the Great March for Climate Action is to change the heart and mind of the American people, our elected leaders and people across the world to act now to address the climate crisis. In 2014, 35-50 climate warriors walked from Los Angeles to Washington, DC carrying this message. Marchers and many people we met along the way continue to pushback against climate change through both direct

action and political action. We're still marching, and invite you to join us in the fight for our lives!

How rapidly might climate action happen under this system?

Switzerland operates under a rare system where citizens vote several times a year on real policies, not just politicians. These votes cover issues ranging from taxes and pensions to immigration and climate laws.

Unlike most countries, Swiss citizens can force a nationwide referendum if they collect enough signatures. This means parliament does not have the final word—the public does.

Citizens can also propose constitutional amendments directly through popular initiatives. If approved, these changes become part of the constitution, bypassing traditional legislative paths.

This constant participation has shaped a culture of political awareness and compromise. Voters are accustomed to reading proposals, debating outcomes, and weighing long-term consequences.

Rather than democracy being an occasional event, Switzerland treats it as an ongoing civic responsibility embedded into everyday life.

Wrong move humans. Again.

According to the latest United Nations Emissions Gap Report, global greenhouse gas emissions reached a record high last year, increasing by 2.3% compared to 2023 📈

The EU was the only major emitter to record a yearly decrease in emissions, cutting them by 2.5% ☁️

This shows that sustained reductions are possible, but global action must accelerate 🚀

At , we need greater collective ambition to turn the global emissions curve downward and limit global warming 🌎🌡️

Is climate action dependent on an educated people? Recently, presenting climate coaching to the International Coaches Federation, I realized relative to Europe, America’s climate action is re****ed by a disinformation campaign charging the term climate change up so high it has become like Harry Potter’s Voldemort-he who shall not be named.
