Too often, small businesses are “spoken for” by corporate lobbyists who claim to represent us but are really pushing a Big Business agenda. We’re changing that

by creating opportunities for small business owners to speak for ourselves – face to face with decision-makers, at public events and through the media.And we’re making an impact.

As a breast cancer survivor, ReShonda knows on a deeply personal level how important it is to have access to comprehensive, affordable health coverage.

Due to the expiration of the enhanced ACA tax credits, her plan went up by about $500, making it unaffordable and forcing her to drop down to a bronze plan to maintain her coverage at a similar monthly premium.

Today, ReShonda shared her powerful story with the members of the Ways and Means committee, and reminded them of their duty — to represent their constituents and their wishes — which are overwhelmingly in support of passing an extension of these life-saving tax credits.
