📞TO ACTION ALERT: Iowa educators and allies, we need your voice!

Despite bipartisan opposition, the Iowa Senate passed SF 2201 setting Supplemental State Aid at 1.75% for FY 2027, a level that does not keep pace with inflation and continues more than a decade of inadequate school funding.

This is likely the last and best chance to contact your State Representative before the bill moves forward.

Tell your legislators:
• 1.75% is a functional cut to Iowa public schools that harms students and staff.
• Underfunding public schools threatens the quality of education Iowa children deserve.
• A 5% SSA would better match real costs while staying within projected revenue.
