To commemorate Juneteenth, our day center will be closed on Friday, June 19th.

Our community is made stronger by the many Black and African American neighbors, families, staff, volunteers, and partners who help shape our work every day. Juneteenth is a time to honor Black history, freedom, resilience, and the ongoing contributions of Black communities across our country.

Closing on Juneteenth is one way we recognize the significance of this day and ensure our staff and volunteers have the opportunity to celebrate, reflect, rest, connect with loved ones, or spend the day in whatever way is meaningful to them.

As a community-centered organization, we believe that honoring Juneteenth is part of honoring the people who make our community what it is.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back when we reopen on Monday morning.

This past weekend, we celebrated our 2nd Annual Steps to Stability 5K! We wanted to take a moment to thank all of our amazing supporters who joined us.

With your help, we raised $17,000 to advance our mission of helping women, gender-diverse people, and children experiencing homelessness or instability. We are grateful for our community for showing up and for standing with those who come through our doors.

Exciting news...tomorrow is our 2nd Annual Steps to Stability 5K (and it's not too late to sign up if you haven't already done so)! Invite a neighbor, friend, or family member and join us for a morning of impact and community building😊

Saturday's Plan:
☑️ Check in with TGP Staff to receive your t-shirt, water bottle, and runner sticker between 7:30am-8:00am.
🎤Opening remarks from TGP's CEO, Heather Beck.
👟 Run, walk, jog, or cheer on others.
🥏 Family friendly lawn games and activities (some available with a suggested donation).
🩶 Connect with different community organizations.
🏆 Submit your time for a chance to win one of our three prizes.
🌮 Brunch at Torchy's Tacos.

👕 Registration includes a Steps to Stability t-shirt and water bottle (Kids sized t-shirts will also be available with a suggested donation and as supplies last).
