This week, we were thrilled to welcome a few incredibly impressive students from Swigert International School on a lab tour at The Morgan Adams Foundation Pediatric Cancer Brain Tumor Research Program.

The experience was a culmination of their year-end project on health care equity related to kids with cancer. We were so inspired by their informed questions and true interest in the projects our researchers shared.

So exciting to watch the next generation of childhood cancer advocates start now!

🎨✨ We are incredibly honored to share that Megan Whitfield is participating in the People’s Artist contest — and if she wins, she plans to donate $20,000 to The Morgan Adams Foundation.

Our mission is deeply personal to Megan. Her five-year-old son, Leo passed away from cancer in August of 2025 after a long journey that began at just 3 months old.

Megan explains, “Creating art has always been an important part of my life. Since my 5-year-old passed away, it’s become how I write him love letters.”

We would be so grateful if you would support Megan by voting and sharing her story here:

You can vote for free every day – so mark your calendars! Together, we can honor Leo’s legacy and continue the fight against childhood cancer. 🎗️

Behind every discovery are children and families waiting for better answers. Getting to know these kids emphasizes why research so important – helping to better understand how to treat the individual child and not treat the general cancer.

Medulloblastoma is one of the most common pediatric brain tumors and it’s also a prime example of tumors that behave very differently in different children. Understanding why is exactly what this type of research that you’re helping to fund aims to uncover.

In this Study Spotlight, you’ll meet two of our incredibly brave Ambassadors diagnosed with Medulloblastoma whose journeys took very different paths:
