Did you know Ray of Hope offers a Mental Health Grant?

This program exists to raise awareness of the critical role mental health plays when cancer impacts a family, while also breaking the stigma around asking for and receiving support.

Our Mental Health Grant is available to cancer patients, their family members, and caregivers who have been affected by a diagnosis, disease progression, or loss. Eligible individuals may receive up to eight counseling sessions at no cost, depending on the provider they choose.

Sarah and her family needed a Ray of Hope during one of their most challenging times, and because of our community, they received it.

At just 39, Sarah was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive cancer. Living in rural Colorado meant long, frequent trips to treatment, additional financial strain to an already overwhelming situation.

Through our Essential Needs Grant, Sarah received support to help cover the cost of fuel for month of care, allowing her family to focus on what matters most.

Ray of Hope Cancer Foundation is thrilled to announce the return of Hope Blooms, our signature springtime celebration presented by Kaiser Permanente, happening Saturday, April 25th at the Denver Botanic Gardens.

This exclusive garden party features access to the beautiful spring garden displays in the annual gardens section, live string music, a silent auction, and the chance to create your own flower bouquet to take home. Guests will also enjoy a breakfast and lunch buffet with a mimosa and Bloody Mary bar, while hearing inspiring stories about how Ray of Hope is supporting Colorado cancer patients.

All proceeds provide essential needs and mental health support for cancer patients across Colorado, ensuring no one has to choose between life-saving treatment and life’s essentials.
