Circle 2 Rescue C2R is non-profit 501c3 rescue dedicated to rescuing homeless animals. No paid staff - 100% volunteer Without these people Circle 2 rescue could not operate.

Circle 2 Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and is supported entirely from the generous donations of animal lovers. A network of committed volunteers, foster homes, and local veterinarians are the backbone of our organization. We are determined to keep administrative expenses low so every dollar donated goes directly to our programs. We rescue the old, the infirm and the young. The abandoned, abused and injured. We believe that every life is valuable regardless of age or medical issues. We nurture and heal the physical and emotional wounds of animals, rehabilitate them, and find them loving forever homes. Upon arrival, they receive a “Nose to Toes Health Care Exam”, which includes: a routine checkup, spay or neuter, dentals and vaccinations. We strive to increase public awareness of companion animal overpopulation issues and provide solutions that end the killing of adoptable animals in an effort to advance animal welfare and create a more humane world for animals.

Needing a little cheer in your Tuesday?🐾

Check out this litter of 6 puppies who found their happily ever after ❤️🏡

These six little reservation-born pups started life with the odds stacked against them. Being an accidental litter in a place where life can already be difficult is no easy beginning. But thankfully, one of our amazing partner volunteers stepped up to give these babies a chance at something better. And what a difference a little love can make! 🥰

Lucy, Allie, Theo, Sweets, Dolly & Sundance have traded uncertainty for cozy beds, full bellies, toys, belly rubs, and families who adore them. 🐶💕 They’re living the life every pet deserves—safe, loved, cherished.

A huge thank-you to our partner volunteer who made their new beginnings possible, and to the wonderful families who opened their hearts and homes. You helped turn six little lives into six very happy endings. ❤️

Im Ace. Im 4 years old and lived my entire life on a chain.

Tonight, the first night in my new foster home, my foster dad said I can sleep on his bed.

I have never known such love.

You don't have to be everyone's cup of tea....
Just be the one that dogs are drawn to.
That's way more rewarding.

Meet Pepper — Our MOST IMPROVED Doggie! 🌟Pepper is 3 years old, weighs just 37 pounds, and is proof that amazing transformations happen when a dog is given time, patience and a chance. 🏆🐾

Pepper's story isn't an easy one. She was a stray, desperately trying to find a safe place for her puppies when someone attempted to catch her. He managed to get a rope around her neck and drag her away. As you can imagine, that experience left a lasting impression. For Pepper, having a collar or leash put around her neck brought all that trauma flooding back.

Pepper was separated from her puppies, and heartbreakingly, they all passed away. 💔 When a local person reached out for help with Pepper we couldn't say no.

When Pepper first came to Circle 2 Rescue, she was understandably shy and incredibly sensitive. She spent much of her time quietly observing from the safety of her favorite hiding spot. Something as simple as walking on a leash was frightening.

But look at her now. This girl has blossomed! 🌱✨

One of Pepper's favorite things today is going for a leash walk! 🐕‍🦺🌿 She happily heads out to explore the neighborhood, enjoys adventures with her foster family, brewery patio outings and trips to the dog park where she can stretch her legs and make new canine friends.

Think about that for a minute: the leash that once represented one of the most frightening experiences of her life is now one of Pepper's favorite things. That is one heck of a transformation. 💛

Pepper is also a dream in the house. 🏡 She is house trained, respectful, trustworthy and wonderfully well-mannered. She lives happily with other dogs and enjoys both playtime and settling down when the fun is over.

As an Australian Cattle Dog, Pepper is smart, observant, loyal and eager to learn. And she has shown us just how much she can accomplish when someone gives her the time and encouragement she needs.

Pepper is, without question, one of our MOST IMPROVED doggies. 🏆🐾 We couldn't be more proud of how far she has come.

Pepper has already overcome so much. Now she's ready for the very best part of her story — finding her forever family. 🐾✨

❤️🐾 There are some really hard days in rescue and there are also the days that are uplifting and recharge your soul. Today was the latter.

Kim is a two-time, Circle 2 Rescue adopter and even though it has been years since those adoptions, she still keeps in touch, sending us photos and updates from time to time. (Those little updates mean more than she probably realizes.) They remind us that the dogs we worked so hard to save are out there living the lives they deserved.

Today, Kim sent us an incredibly generous donation in memory of her beloved Ziggy, who passed away a little over a week ago after 15 wonderful years together.

Kim wrote:

“My hope is that this small donation will help place another special needs senior who just needs one last chance at a happy home.”

Kim, your donation is anything but small. ❤️ It is a beautiful way to honor Ziggy and the life you shared with him.

Kim also shared that while Ziggy may have been her dog, there was no mistake that Chewy—the special ChunkyWeiner-WiggleButt she adopted from us—was ZIGGY'S dog.

That is the circle of rescue. A dog comes into our care. We find them a home. Years pass. And somehow, that little dog—and the people who love them—find their way back to us and help another dog get their chance.

Kim, thank you. Thank you for adopting senior dogs that get overlooked. Thank you for staying in touch. Thank you for sharing Ziggy and Chewy with us. And thank you for turning your grief into a gift that will help another senior or special-needs dog find their own happy ending.

We are so sorry for your loss, and so grateful for the beautiful life you gave Ziggy. ❤️

Rest easy, sweet Ziggy. Your legacy is going to help another dog get their happily-ever-after. 🌈

🐾❤️ KOA UPDATE: THIS BOY HIT THE JACKPOT! ❤️🐾

Some of you may remember our beloved three-legged Koa, who was adopted about a year ago. Last month, we got a call that Koa had been found wandering the streets of Denver. Thankfully, he was microchipped, so we were able to contact his owner.

She told us she had no idea how he got out but assured us it wouldn't happen again.

Well… she technically kept that promise. 🤦‍♀️

HOWEVER, the very next day, we got a call from the shelter saying she had surrendered Koa. No words for that one.

After a few meet-and-greets that weren't quite the right fit, along came Jeremy, a longtime Husky lover who has adopted several Huskies over the years. He had recently lost his beloved 15-year-old Husky, and he and his other Husky were missing their buddy.

Then they met Koa. ❤️ And it was perfect!

Today, Koa is living the good life: 🛏️ sleeping on the bed, 🚗 daily car rides to pick up his new human brother from school, 🐕 playtime with his new Husky brother and the neighborhood dogs, and — most importantly — being very, very loved.

After everything this sweet boy has been through, we couldn't be happier. ❤️🐾

Happy tails, sweet boy! You deserve every minute of your happily-ever-after. 🥰
