Dear family, friends, & supporters,
It is with heavy hearts that we have to share this with you all. Early this morning Barrett unexpectedly passed away in her sleep.
Barrett was such a special young lady. She brought so many people together and touched the hearts of everyone who met her. She was feisty, full of energy, and full of light, and we hope that each and every one of you had a chance to experience just how much she had to give.
Barrett changed not only our lives but countless others throughout her 19 years on this earth. Her spirit lives on in each and every person who had the pleasure of meeting her.
We cannot thank you all enough for the love, support, and kindness you have shown our family throughout her life. We absolutely would not be where we are without each and every one of you. We have built a family even greater than our own around such an amazing girl. We truly are the lucky ones.
The fight against Rett Syndrome is ongoing and prevalent as ever. Everything we did as a family was to support Barrett and to support other Rett families and the future little girls who will be diagnosed. We have every intention of continuing this fight and working to help find a cure.
We will be planning a celebration of life with the entire T4B family at some point.
