What a beautiful day! We are looking forward to seeing everyone at 'Masquerade at the Museum'. Tonight is about sharing stories, impact, and raising funds to support survivors of gender based violence- with a lot of fun as well.

A CPO is a court order requiring an abuser or harasser to stay away and stop all contact — a key piece of a survivor's safety plan.

A few facts about CPOs in Colorado:

- Requested through civil court
- Filed in any county
- No fees for victims of domestic abuse, sexual assault, or stalking
- Can protect children under 18
- Must be served on the respondent to take effect
- Can be made permanent at a later hearing
