We are proud to welcome the President of Ithaca College, Dr. Shirley M. Collado as our new President and CEO. Dr. Collado has spent two decades working to democratize educational access and potential, and she will bring incredible leadership to College Track.

OAKLAND, Calif. July 8, 2021 – Ithaca College President Shirley M. Collado, Ph.D. has been named the organization’s President and CEO. Dr. Collado, the president of Ithaca College since 2017, will begin in her new role on January 10, 2022.

In spring 2020, Kaila Holloway found herself in the same boat as millions of students across the country. As a second-year medical student, her classes were now all online.

When she was a young girl, Kaila knew she wanted to become a doctor. Growing up in New Orleans, Kaila would visit her grandmother at the hospital, where she worked as registered nurse. On Kaila’s visits, it did not take long for her to realize there were no female doctors who looked like her. So, Kaila made it her mission to change the narrative.

After graduating from Howard University in Washington, D.C., Kaila returned to New Orleans to pursue her M.D. at Louisiana State University. While Kaila has faced tragedy and loss in her journey through college, she is determined to be the representation for the next generation of Black doctors to come.

What an amazing day at College Track Colorado's first day of our Corporate Residency Program. We had an action packed day with four guest speakers from the community who believe College Track is a great organization to help students get to and through college.

Our students learned about networking, pay negotiations, virtual interviews, and even about a Personal Brand Statement!

XQ America in partnership with the LeBron James Foundation, and the Entertainment Industry Foundation will be hosting an hour-long, star-studded special with appearances by Lebron James, H.E.R., and students from around the country including our very own 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫, 𝐄𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲!
